More about Karin Cox
I'm an Aussie author who loves to go to extremes... |
I write for both children and adults, and I write both fiction and non-fiction. Basically, I write ... and I write. I'm also a freelance editor, having previously worked as a senior editor for trade publishers in Australia and in the United Kingdom. I've also spent some time being "The Invisible Woman"—ghostwriting memoirs and autobiographies (but I can't tell which or I'd have to kill you, or, more likely, the authors would kill me). Currently, I'm the proud author of more than fifty titles, I'm an Amazon bestselling author in Dark Fantasy and Gothic Romance, and I'm the recipient of two Whitley commendation awards for natural history writing.
My indie-published works include a poetry anthology (Growth), two books of short stories (Cage Life and Crows & Other Beasts), two children's picture books (Hey, Little Sister and Pancakes on Sunday), the DARK GUARDIANS gothic paranormal romance series (including Cruxim, Creche, Creed and a box set), and What the Sea Wants, a YA contemporary romance with paranormal elements. I'm also currently working on Under Moons & Crosses, which is a military romance, as well as another fantasy series that will spin off from Dark Guardians. Signed copies of all of my indie published titles are available directly from me at a set price plus postage. Visit the store to find out more. Like many writers, I am never short on ideas! I live in a beautiful part of Australia, where I write out on my deck overlooking the pool, listening to the squabble of galahs and sulphur-crested cockatoos.
